Early Life
Dr. John Snow was born in York, England on the 15th of March in 1813. When he turned 14 he became an apprentice to a surgeon and moved to London to attend several prestigious colleges including the Royal College of Surgeons.
His early work lead him to research Cholera and the ways that it is spread, which would lead him to conclude that it was spread by water instead of by air and also encourage him to make his famous Cholera Map
Dr. Snow died of a stroke at age 45 on June 16th 1858
